Most anglers use an 8-weight, however, 6- to 9-weights should be considered depending upon skill level and conditions. |

Anything you would like to try! Clousers, Sliders, Crabs, Poppers, Spoon flies all work well. Sizes 6 to 2 are most common. In any case, I will have flies with a proven success record. |

A good drag system is recommended. Load it with a floating line and a 10- to 16-pound tapered leader. |

Most of my clients practice catch-and-release, but I understand if you want to take fish home to eat. If you do, have an ice-chest available for transport. |

Unlike many guides, I do not charge extra for fuel. That doesn't mean, however, that I simply choose fishing spots that minimize running time. We will go wherever the fish are. Like I said, "We’ll get ‘er done!"
